Travel industry faces new challenges

The Australian travel industry, having survived SARS, the Iraq war and the upturn in terrorism was facing new domestic challenges, Harvey World Travel Ltd said.

Meanwhile another operator in the industry, Transonic Travel Ltd, has decided to switch its focus internationally, leaving the domestic travel scene to others.
