Sunshine state still tops for tourists
It appears the sun is still shining brightly on Queensland's lucrative tourism industry, with the state's main tourism body showing the sunshine state is still Australia's most popular tourist destination. From Sunshine state still tops for touristsAccording to Tourism Queensland's annual report, the sector injected more than $18 billion into the Queensland economy during the last financial year.
Queensland attracted 39 per cent of Australia's interstate visitors for 2003 to 2004, 15 per cent more than New South Wales and three times as many as Victoria.
I wonder how they measure that, and seperate it from business/work travelers?
