Sydney, New South Wales

Sydney is home to approximatly 4 million people, or 20% of Australia's total population. The city is the land down under's historical, cultural and social epicenter. It is, understandably, the most heavily touristed city, and it boasts the nation's largest airport.

Sydney is located in New South Wales, Australia's most heavily populated state. It sits on the East Coast, and is almost directly across the country from Western Australia's capital, Perth. It lies in the lower fourth of the country.
