The Chill Bar - Brisbane

With temperatures in Brisbane supposed to hit 38° Celcius (100°F) by Friday, folks are looking for ways to beat the heat. As my train was leaving Roma Street station the other day, I spied a poster advertising the Chill Bar.

According to the poster they have not one, but two Scandinavian inspired ice bars, and over 80 imported vodkas to choose from while the rest of the city swelters. And if you're really keen to get away from the sauna outside, you can hire out the Vodka Room - chilled to 5°C. They'll even provide you with a fur jacket.

The website ain't much, but if you have broadband you can have a chuckle at the buxom blonde wearing a variety of hats in most of the photos.

Were you pissed when we were telling you about this place AGES ago? Or was I pissed and it was someone else entirely?

I've had vodka there, but um, the infamous Vodka Room is a treat for its $2K pa membership fee!!!

I think I'll put up with the humidity and find a nice beer garden...

We must have been both pissed and not together cos I don't remember being told about this place. But I could be wrong.
