Push for tourist levy
A LOCAL government consortium wants to slug international visitors to Australia a $200 levy to cover tourism infrastructure costs. Macroplan director Brian Haratsis said the consortium, known as the National Sea Change Taskforce, comprised 70 councils from tourism hotspots in Queensland, NSW, South Australia and Western Australia.From Push for tourist levy
