Corporate giving accelerates as top end of town gets back to business

Donations from corporate Australia to tsunami relief efforts gained momentum yesterday, with million-dollar contributions from several of Australia's biggest companies pushing the total well above $10 million.

However, in many cases, generosity from staff and the public has outstripped that from the top end of town, according to figures compiled by the Herald.
