Tourism from China to quadruple

The number of Chinese tourists visiting Australia is forecast to quadruple in the next 10 years, prompting a new government strategy.

Chinese visitor numbers will rise from 220,000 to 960,000 by 2013, Federal Tourism Minister Fran Bailey said in an address to the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC).
