He could have been the champion of the world...
Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, the boxer wrongfully imprisoned for murder in the 60's and now a civil rights activist will be visiting Brisbane to give a lecture at Griffith University on October 10.
Tickets for the event are already sold out, as are the $275 seats at a fundraising dinner. But the Courier Mail is giving away 100 tickets if you've just got to be there.

I put my hat into the ring, Mary and we'll see if I win anything. Would be great to hear him speak but I didn't know he was coming til after tickets went on sale.
