State of Origin III
Final game of the State of Origin rugby league series between Queensland and New South Wales kicks off tonight. The game doesn't matter except for pride as NSW has wrapped things up 2-0 already.
Be my first game of league I've watched in a few years and I've always enjoyed the fiery encounters between the Cane Toads and the Cockroaches. History shows best how closely contested this annual series is, with nothing separating the teams. Going into tonight's game, here are the stats:
Games: NSW 33 QLD 33 drawn 2
Series: NSW 10 QLD 10 drawn 2
You can't get much closer than that.

Go the 'rones indeed, though I am v. worried that it could be as dismal as the last match - AND I'm having to watch it w Cockroaches AGAIN... sigh...
And for 'obvious' reasons to 'some', I wouldn't mind if 'Darren Lockyer' gets a few misguided punches in the groin!!! Ahem...

Go the 'rones!!!!!!!! How good was that?! And I must say Mr Lockyer did us proud. Bugger the series, let 'history' do the maths!!!
