Tamworth Country Music Festival, Here I come

Yeee Haaaaa! Get your Boots and Hat Ready. It’s time for the Annual Tamworth Country Music Festival. If you want to go and don’t ahave anywhere booked to stay yet… too bad! Bring a tent. The accomodation books up a YEAR in advance. A couple of girlfriends and I are going to try our luck with the whole tent situation this weekend. Speaking of Big Events, Tamworth is the Home of the BIG Golden Guitar. One of the Registered BIGs The 12 metre high statue weighs half a tonne and is made of fibreglass over a steel frame

Atttached to the Guitar is the Gallery of Stars Wax Museum. The 26th star to be immortalised in wax in the style of Madame Tussauds was Troy Cassar-Daley, who was done and dusted off for the 2006 unveiling. Once made in Nashville, the stars are Aussie produced now, and every couple of years a new figurine is added.
