Tourists urged to spy on predators
Tourists are being urged to spy on predators while traveling overseas as part of a recent crackdown on child sex-tourism. There’s definitely some shock value in the promotional material here, but it’s a pretty serious offense so I’m all for it.

Australia gripped by Falconio mystery
Where to start with the Falconio story? You may recall, the Peter Falconio murder occured in 2001, when he and his girlfriend were attacked in the outback. She survived and the story was the basis for the horror flick Wolf Creek that prosecutors are now opening to delay the release. A suspect was captured a few months later on unrelated rape charges. Australia is gripped by the Falconio mystery - the biggest since the “dingo ate my baby” trial. The girlfriend, Joanne Lees, has given dramatic testimony regarding the attack. …

Moonlit boat tragedy
For some reason, when people head overseas they never think about getting into a car accident, being felled by sickness or some other serious situation. A woman who was boating fell overboard and struck her head on a propeller after a moonlit boat ride in Townsville. The drug-smuggling idiots are having their day in court with the start of the Bali 9 trial. They are facing the death penalty if convicted. Looking pretty and carrying an extra set of clothes?

Abandoned divers rescued after six hours in shark-infested sea
I’m sure this most recent event of leaving-divers-in-the-water is going to do great things for Queensland tourism. A couple was caught in the current flowing between two reefs and were pulled away from the boat. They were found 6 hours later, two hours before the search was to be called off. There were aggressive sharks in that area and it’s very fortunate that they’re alive. I see a lot of nightmares in the future… Abandoned divers rescued after six hours in shark-infested sea
