MANY Australians are getting the best of both worlds this summer - planning overseas trips as well as enjoying their traditional summer beach holiday.
Tourism Australia director Andrew McEvoy says 18 per cent of Australians take holidays in January, and that the healthy economy, together with the strength of the Australian dollar, was encouraging people to head overseas.
