Calling all writers
The Brisbane Writers Festival kicks off in October in South Bank and they're looking for volunteers to help out.
They need ushers, stage managers, and "Green Room buddies". I don't know what that is, but it sounds interesting.
Most of the festival events are free, so if the pen is your friend, you might enjoy this one.

I'm planning to volunteer. I'm an American with a Working Holiday visa, arriving in Brisbane in mid-September. This will be a great opportunity to meet with Australian writers and learn about Australian literature. Looking forward to it!
