Nice selection of games, France v Fiji in Brisbane is probably going to be entertaining too.

How hard is it to get tickets? There were reports in the UK earlier this year that Australia was jacking up the prices of packages for visiting fans.
England fancy their chances, so I can see a good few thousand coming down.

I heard somewhere that a bunch of tickets got returned from other nations rugby federations so there are more tix on the market. Could be bollocks, but tickets were selling fast yesterday. I'm sure they'll be plenty of folks out there making an extra buck or twenty selling tickets on the side, or offering "packages" way over the market value.

Fijian nationals are being refused Holiday visas to visit Australia for the RWC. Officials from the Australian consulate in Suva have stated "the Rugby World Cup is insufficient reason to grant individuals a visiting visa considering the history of Fijian nationals overstaying their visas..." I would imagine the number of British and other competing nation's overstayers to be similiarly high, but it would appear that guests toting pockets full of pounds sterling to be a more attractive risk. Shame us Aussies get such a friendly "Bula" welcome when we arrive as quests in their country. Go Fiji!!!! Shame Australian Dept Immigration.

Martin Johnson, Richard Hill and Johnny Wilkinson are standing before God at the throne of Heaven. God looks at them and says; "before granting you a place at my side, I must first ask you what you believe in."

Addressing Johnson first he asks, "what do you believe?" Johnson looks God in the eye and states passionately, "I believe Rugby to be the food of life. Nothing else brings such unbridled joy to so many people from the grim North to the bright lights of Twickenham. I have devoted my life to bring such joy to people who stood on the terraces supporting their club."

God looks up and offers Johnson the seat to his left.

He then turns to Hill, "and you, Dicky, what do you believe?" Hill stands tall and proud, "I believe courage, honour and passion are the fundamentals to life and I've spent my whole playing career providing a living embodiment of these traits." God, moved by the passion of the speech offers Hill the seat to his right.

Finally, he turns to Wilkinson, "and you, Johnny, what do you believe?"

"I believe..." says Wilkinson "...you're sitting in my seat."

So why are the ARU banning bagpipes from the World cup then?

I am no Scot but love the sound of the pipes.

Apparently the ARU think they are intimidating or something. How pathetic some of you drones are!

Are they gonna have the guts to try and ban the NZ, Tongan and Fijian hakas? Now those are aggressive challenges as opposed to a stirring musical instrument. Or is it that the whiny O'Neill tosser once again jumps on the chance of a little Pom bashing
