• SpicyRambutan needs a break from Melbourne, and is thinking about a four-day break to Cairns. He’s never been before, and is looking for recommendations - places to stay, things to do, things to avoid. A couple have mentioned it’ll be wet, wet, wet when he’s going, but if he can stand that, it sounds like there’s plenty to see and do.
• Nick_83’s doing some travel dreaming - he’s currently dreaming of doing some work in Australia next November, and is looking for recommendations about where to live. He’s looking for a big city near an ocean with a young vibe and cool music scene. What city fits that description?
