Australia considers testing immigrants

In a move that’s sure to anger people on both sides of the immigration issue in Australia…especially since they single out Muslims in particular…

Australia’s conservative government has said it is considering testing immigrants’ English skills and their understanding of Australian cultural values before allowing them to become citizens.

Parliamentary Secretary for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs Andrew Robb said the exam would help immigrants fit into Australian society and improve their job prospects.
