Australia's Qantas increases fuel surcharge
The Australian carrier, Qantas, has announced another increase in its fuel surcharge, blaming the move on high oil prices.

Air NZ expects profit

On another note, it’s nice to know at at least one airline is making a profit and isn’t on the edge of going bankrupt.

Qantas to spend $5bn on planes
QANTAS is looking to spend more than $US4 billion ($5.48billion) on about 20 new aircraft when it starts to phase out its venerable jumbo jet fleet later this decade.
