If you’re the type that enjoys eating breakfast for dinner, Pancakes in Paradise is the place to show up. They serve every breakfast favorite, from eggs, bacon and sausage to fluffy stacks of pancakes with maple syrup. Pizza Capers
For the days you just want a good take-away pizza, Pizza Capers is the place to be. Pizza Capers is a gourmet pizza kitchen that is located all over Queensland with plenty also scattered around the Gold Coast. You can choose from locations in Broadbeach, Palm Beach and Southport to name a few. BMD Northcliffe Surf Club
If you’re looking for a large meal with cheap beer and a fantastic view of the ocean, you might want to stop over at the BMD Northcliffe Surf Club. This club has been voted the best club 6 years in a row, and it is easy to see why. The huge windows make it feel as though you are practically on the beach, but if you step over to the bar, it is just like being a cool pub. You can get a huge burger with the works for only $14 with a $4 schooner of XXXX Gold to wash it down. It is located on the corner of Garfield Terrace and Thornton Street in Surfers Paradise.

Zarraffa’s Coffee
Zarraffa’s Coffee is like Queensland’s answer to Gloria Jeans with enough coffee drinks to make your head spin. They also feature the typical bakery type goods you would expect at a cafe from muffins to croissants, and some are even a Wi-Fi hotspot! You can get a free 15 minutes of access for each drink you buy. Luckily, you are never too far from a Zarraffa’s when you need a caffeine hit as there are nearly 20 locations around the Gold Coast alone.
East
East is a great restaurant in Broadbeach where Eastern culinary delights mix with the West. The setting for this restaurant is eye-catching and warm, and there are generally entertaining shows, such as belly-dancing, on in the evening. Friday nights offer guests a 3 course menu for only $30, but be aware that this restaurant transforms into a club after 10:30pm. East is located at 88 Surf Parade in Broadbeach.
Hard Rock Cafe
It turns out that Surfers Paradise is home to the only Hard Rock Cafe in all of Australia, so if you’re looking for the Hollywood, rock star and celebrity type setting to your meal, you can check it out. Known for its apparel shops, live music and food, the Hard Rock Cafe is a great addition to any holiday. It is located just on the corner of the Cavill Avenue and Surfers Paradise Boulevard.

D’Arcy Arms Restaurant and Bar
This cute little Irish place is inviting from the outside with its cottage charm. It features great food in a great atmosphere, and most importantly, it has Guinness beer on tap! When the weather is cool, there is a fireplace to cozy around. In the summer, the courtyard is opened up to the patrons to bask in the cooling breezes. D’Arcy Arms is located on the Gold Coast Highway, just on the corner of Frederick Street.
