Sydney Animal Parks: In Search of Native Wildlife in the City

Australia
Australia has a number of features that make it a unique place to visit, and of course, you’ll want to see them all. However, that’s not always possible given your holiday time or your reason for visiting in the first place. Perhaps you have business in [1] Sydney, but not enough time to get up to [2] Queensland. Maybe you had just a short stopover on your way back to your home country. Either way, you might just end up seeing Sydney city… and not much else.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though. Sydney is one of my favorite places in the world, and it is a place I now call home. Still, you might be wondering how you’re going to get around to seeing other amazing features of Australia when “stuck” in the big city.
Well, if it’s [3] native wildlife you want, then it is native wildlife you’ll get – yes, even in the city – and here’s how:
View from Taronga Zoo.
[6] The Taronga Zoo is home to hundreds of native species of Australian wildlife – everything from kangaroos, koalas and wallabies to snakes and other [7] creepy crawlies.
A Koala inside Wildlife World.
Jelly fish and their bioluminescence.
A giant croc at the Sydney Reptile Park.
The main attractions.
You can dive with these guys.
The [16] Featherdale Wildlife Park is another big one in the Sydney area that you can get to in under an hour. Have you been before?
