October 04, 2003GoodbyeWe said goodbye to a family member today. George the cat went to the vet today and did not come home. She'd been off her food for some time and the medication from the last vet visit wasn't doing much good. It was sad to see her go. She's been more of a part of this household than I have for the past 10 years and it will be strange not to have her being ultra-friendly when she was hungry and bolting up and down the hallways in the mornings. This is sad. I was so sorry to read about it. But, I guess it is best for George not to suffer. Posted by: Dusty on October 5, 2003 04:31 AMI understand the pain having had our cat (Gemma, she was only two) put down about a two months ago. Posted by: Toby on October 5, 2003 06:02 PMMay Georgina rest in peace. Posted by: Sean on October 6, 2003 12:57 AMhey chris.. very sorry to hear about your cat. hope you are having a better week now... Yeah, it was a shame. My sister is probably leaving Oz to live in the US so we might end up with her two cats, which is how we came to get George in the first place all those years ago. Those cats are nuts.
