July 06, 2003Wooloowin Open - Match IT. Innes d. C Heidrich Weather: Fine Temp: 23 degrees Just like Star Wars the saga continues. In one of the longest sporting rivalries seen in Australia, Chris and Toby will be locking horns in the first tennis match of 2003. This competition between two of tennis's best has been running for over 14 years (since year 11 at High School). This match was undertaken on an Antbed court in Kalinga Park, Brisbane. Antbed courts are like clay, low and slow with the odd variable bounce (much like Chris & Toby). Both players started out a bit sluggish and only one player ended that way. Tennis was as usual the winner. Toby got to take home the bragging rights and put another dash in the win column. Comments
