Fear and Loathing in Australia
Now now, this is interesting. Due to their support of the war in Iraq and the death of more than 200 British backpackers in three years, Britain has declared Australia "danger island". The world's second largest insurance broker (its HQ were in the Twin Towers), Aon, has elevated the terrorism watch for Down Under to "elevated". Among Australia's scariest encounters? Crime, homophobia, deadly exotic wildlife, tropical diseases, bushfires and killer roads.
