Five Aust films to screen at Cannes

Five Australian films will be shown at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

The Australian short drama, Blue Tongue, directed by Justin Kurzel and produced by Tim Jolley, has been selected to screen in Critic's Week at 2005 festival.

It is the first Australian short film to screen in Critics' Week.

The Critics' Week each year selects seven features and seven short films from first or second time directors.

The Directors Fortnight at Cannes will also feature writer and director Greg McLean's film Wolf Creek.
